Bath Potions also uses mineral water in our Australian Clay Mask formulations. The Australian clays also contain minerals, including iron and silica, making these masks more similar to body composition than those made with deionised water.

Sunflower Oil

Dr Sara says, “I love sunflower oil”! Sunflower oil has a number of health benefits and is a fabulous addition to cosmetics and toiletries. Sunflower oil is rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. These are components that are needed to keep our bodies healthy and can also help to maintain healthy skin.

Sunflower oil is a good source of vitamin E, and selenium, both of which are antioxidants, the vitamin, folate, and contains the elements iron and zinc. “I first used sunflower oil because I like Sunflowers. After making my first soap with sunflower oil, I realized it has a lot to offer to soap and skin care products” Dr Sara.

Honey

Honey is a golden ingredient containing, sugars, vitamins, minerals, and those wonderful antioxidants! Bath Potions gets their honey from Orchid Apiaries in Norfolk. We do not know the bees personally, but we do know the beekeeper!

Honey and beeswax make soap and toiletries intensely moisturising. You can really feel the difference when you use honey soaps & scrubs. The honey makes skin feel silky smooth and incredibly soft. Beeswax is very good for treating chapped lips and locks in moisture, leaving your lips sweet and kissable.
