Slimy, smelly science for girls and boys! Dr Sara has a PhD in neuroscience from Hershey Medical School. Dr Sara used to study the brain- a bit like Nina and The Neurons and has years of experience teaching science to both children and adults. We are pleased to have Dr Sandip Patel, a lecturer at the University College London, as our Scientific Advisor. Dr Patel is usually in his laboratory (like any good scientist should be), but beware, he sometimes joins us in the Bath Potions' Workshop!

At  Dr Sara's Science Parties children will learn how real scientists conduct experiments, make their own slime and DNA genetic code bracelet. Experiments will focus on a coke and mento explosion and vegetables exposed to different pH!

We will definitely get messy so each child will be given laboratory gloves to wear. Some of the topics Dr Sara will discus include; the scientific method, chemical reactions, chemical synthesis, pH & pH indicators.

Each child will take home a party bag containing their 2 experiment data sheets, a tub of slime and a DNA genetic code bracelet.

 The base price for Dr Sara's Science Parties is £35. There is a charge of £9.50 per child. Parties accommodate 4 to 18 children.
